This morning was Parker's last game of the Spring season followed by the teams pool party. It was a great time! After dinner the boys had fun dressing up.
Pictures are a bit out of order. I didn't feel like fixing them. They are in time order just jumbled. Daddy played hooky today and he and Parker went to Magic. Landon and I went to the mall and had lunch. When the boys got hole Landon 1-2-3 swinged for the first time. He loved it. The day ended with hugs.
Parker had school today. Landon and I just hung around the house. After rest time we played outside a bit. After dinner we went on a bike ride and daddy got home just in time to join us.
Parker's master teacher couldn't make it to school last week so class picture day was rescheduled for today. Thankfully he still wanted to wear his tie... not that it mattered as he picked his nose till it bleed and they had to change his outfit. It of course was in the middle of pictures so we'll have to see what outfit makes it in the photo.
While Parker was at school Landon and I ran some errands and hung out at home.
When we got Parker at school there was a photo album out of different shapes with one of the kids holding something with the shape. Funny thing is I happened to be in the observation room to see Parker get his picture takes with a circle.
After lunch Parker mailed some birthday cards to grandma P.
After breakfast the boys kept busy entertaining themselves. Then we headed off for our walk/bike rude play date. After rest time the boys had fun playing in capes and being soldiers. Parker had baseball practice tonight. The end.
Today was picture day at school and Parker wanted to wear a tie. Once he got to school though we found out they were postponed till next week so that his master teacher could be in the photo.
While Parker was at school Landon and I went to the park for a little bit.
After rest time the boys played in daddy's new hat, watched the rain, took photos, became superheroes, and got ready for bed.
Our Landon turned 19 months old today. He continues to pretty much be the same as last month. If he's up to it and in his own way he'll say mama, dada, hi, bye, water, yeah, cheese, apple, uh oh, whoa, and that's about it I think. If you tell him "Landon go find your water and bring it to the table" he will. So hearing doesn't seem to be an issue. He sleeps most nights 10 hours and naps 1-3 hours depending on his mood that day.
After our 19 week photo shoot Landon pushed his limits. He knows he's not supposed to get up on the treadmill and obviously sitting on the car isn't exactly what's taught.
Parker spent his day playing around and being silly.
This morning after my run Parker found me when he woke up. I was doing sit-ups. He showed me an exercise to do.
After breakfast Landon was playing. I could hear he was, um, doing some dirty diaper business. I knew he'd come tell me so I got my camera ready.
Photo shoot attempt followed up by some Power Ranger dress up.
After Landon's nap he watched some kids play outside then he harassed the cat.
Parker's master teacher lost her husband to cancer last week so I had Parker paint her a little picture to help cheer her up. Not sure when she's returning to school but I know it'll get to her.
Daddy has a bad foot that he was icing. Landon joined in.
- game time! It was hot so Parker was a bit grumpy but was excited that grandpa R came.
- after the game we stopped for cupcakes
- during Landon's nap Parker and daddy went to hang out with some friends. When Landon woke he hung out watching Mickey so that I could get dinner ready. After dinner he had a few bites of cupcake with me then kept busy and acting crazy.
There was a dance party in the kitchen this morning. Then Parker went off to school and Landon hung out in our room while I showered. Then he went with me to the running shoe store to get some new kicks. Back home for a quick lunch then off to get Parker at school. I tried a photo attempt with Landon but he decided to point out his body parts instead. The boys played around awhile then we went on a bike ride where Parker made a wish to go to Magic Mountain.
Not much to report today. This morning we had a follow up at the doctor to make sure Landon's ears were clear. They were. Parker wouldn't let me take his photo basically all day but I managed to sneak in a few. Noticed the boys were sleeping the same way tonight. Sometime remind me to tell you about the time the boys left the house on their own.
This morning when I was getting breakfast ready Parker started laughing and saying look at Landon! (Which happens quite a bit). Landon was hanging like a monkey from the island. Not sure how he figured that out but he did! Parker decided to open up the Mother's Day cards he signed for me. The boys snuggled on the couch a little but before I went to the store with Landon. When I got back I attempted some selfies with the boys. It went amazing. The big boys washed mommys car while Landon rested. Before dinner we had fun playing outside. The boys picked me flowers and we jumped around in the bouncer. Fun day with all my boys.
We had a great day at Parker's game and playing at the park after. Then we hung at at home. Parker gave me an early Mother's Day goodie and we watched a movie or two.
Parker has been all about gun play lately. Everything's a gun. This morning he was using his blocks as guns, googles, walki talkies. You name it. When I had to go upstairs he declared he needed to show dad his latest invention! The rest of our day was typical shenanigans. Landon even asked to go potty. He tried, nothing happened. The night ended with Parker calling daddy his brother and wanting a photo.
This morning Parker decorated some cards for his teachers. Then Landon joined him for breakfast and they had a fake burping contest. Fun. The boys headed upstairs so Parker could get ready for school. On his way to class they saw a snake! Back at home Landon did his daily photo with me without being too difficult. Back at school I was surprised with a card. After Landon's nap he declared it was time to go outside. But first I needed a good pic of Parker.
This morning we met friends for a walk/bike ride and park play. The goal is to do it every Wednesday. The boys had a lot of fun. During rest time Parker played with his "soldier box". Have I explained that before? It's a box of things that are too small to have around Landon and contains a lot of toy soldiers. Parker created a fly trapper and all sorts of things. Then later Parker had baseball practice.
While Parker was at school Landon and I took a walk. During rest time Parker had fun with his soldiers. While Landon continued to nap Parker did a little baseball practice. Before dinner Parker tried to build a castle with his wooden blocks. However, Landon thought it would be fun to sit on the box the blocks are in. Landon sure loves his after dinner cookies. The rest of the night was playing around. :)
This morning Landon some banana cinnamon bread I made yesterday. Then the boys drew some pictures. Parker actually drew something aside from his normal "roller coasters". A house with a spooky tree and a blimp. Then the boys played around a bit. I attempted daily photos. Parker wanted to show me what he made in the play room. During bath Landon tried to give Parker kisses. At bed time Landon went crazy in Parker's bed while I read him a bedtime story.
Today Parker went with daddy to Magic Mountain. Parker was so excited to be back. He got to go in two new rides. He had such a blast. Meanwhile Landon and I ran to the store and just played around the house.
This morning Parker had his first of two 7:45 am games. What made it worse is it was picture day so both teams had to be fine before the game start time. Of course any other day he would have been up at 6:30 but today he was still asleep and I had to wake him. At first he seemed ok. But then he started getting really grumpy and uncooperative. But I threw him in his uniform, slapped a bagel in his hand and off he went. He was pretty grumpy at the game too. I think part was he didn't have enough to eat. I'll have to get something extra in him for the next early game. After the game we came back home to change. Parker was reaching for something and Landon found it to be a perfect time to ride Parker's back. This morning at Parker's school they had a celebrate the you be child event. Tons of activities and games. The boys had a blast. Landon came home to nap then Parker and daddy went to Chuck E Cheese to play. Landon didn't nap too long then had fun playing in the play room then outside once Parker got back home.
This morning was heavy errand day. We went to the grocery store, back to Parker's new school to drop paperwork, then to Old Navy to get some shorts for Parker. Then back at home I tried to get a daily photo of Landon which apparently he thinks is in the hallway now. Before dinner the boys had fun playing in the pool.
Parker had a school day. While he was having fun Landon and I stopped off paperwork to Parker's new school. Then we went to Target where I found some kickass rain boots on clearance for Landon. When Parker got home and saw them he was so excited thinking they were for him I felt so bad. While they don't need for rain, they like using them outside to play. Parker spent his afternoon building a town for me. I did my best to keep Landon away from it. Then we went out for a bike ride after dinner. Before bed Landon decided to see what it would be like to be a big boy.
