He finally slept in a bit so I let him go till 7:00.  But he managed to get up and get ready and out the door in plenty of time.

Meanwhile we had fun at Target.

We played cars on mommy's bed because where else would you?

Then we worked on his homework.  First we looked for D's or things that began with a D.

Cut them out then glued.

Wrote our name and some D's.

All done.  We managed to not have tears this time so that's a win.

Parker had his first Star Wars science after school enrichment today.  He had a great time.  They made some lava.

We finished up his homework when he got home.

And he did a journal entry.

January 30, 2017

He tried to get me to let him stay home because of his coughing.  I thought about doing it but once he was up and out of bed I could tell he was fine to go to school.

This guy had school today too and thankfully is no longer giving me a hard time about going.

After school I surprised him with his bike to ride home.  He was so excited and thankful.

I was hiding upstairs and he found me and brought a request a long.

Then we played some games.

When Parker got home from school we did a little homework.

Then we played some darts and had fun outside.

After a quick dinner we headed to Parker's cub scout event.

Landon played with another little brother for a bit.

Practicing making a camp fire with snacks.

And the kid got their derby kits.

On the way out we took a picture by a sign his bff's mommy made.

In the shower Parker drew a pic of me and him :)

Throwback boys 01/30/13

A little Kids Bop party before breakfast.

Then we spent the morning going on a family hike.  It ended up being 3 hours and just over 6 miles.  The boys were pretty tired!  All 3 of them :).  It was beautiful though!

While Parker managed to handle the mileage well Landon was a mess a lot of the time and spent a lot of time up on my shoulders.  But that got hard on me and he did do a lot of walking.
