We had a ton of rain and winds today.  There was a break in the storm so we headed out to see the river.

Usually this is completely dry.  So much water and it was moving fast.

The boys spent a lot of time throwing sticks, logs and rocks into it.

It's hard to see but there's a rainbow behind them.

Meanwhile back at home.

Enjoying the calm before storm.

Mommy drove to school this morning so that meant some silliness before heading in.

When I went into my meeting I caught a certain someone headed to the bathroom.

When we got home from his pickup he said he wanted to sweep.  I told him there's a big storm tomorrow so more leaves would be falling, but he was determined.

Not too shabby.
