Mama went on a run this morning with the team (finally)!

Then we had to drop daddy's car off for routine maintenance and Landon insisted this was Herby.

The book store is across the street from the dealership so we played around there a bit.

Then did some shopping around.

Our old teammate was having a game today so we went to watch some of it.

On the way home for lunch we stopped by an ity bity safety expo.

The boys had some fun playing with the slime and soldiers.

Landon did some reading and writing.

And practiced his bean bag tossing skills.

Parker had a game tonight.   He played several different positions.  Sadly our 3rd inning pitcher had an off night and the other team got 7 runs... We lost 10-1 :(   Big loss for our 3rd place Padres.  

In this level it's kid pitch.  Parker would be super amazing at it if the coaches actually did some training with him.  I try my best with him at home at times and so does dad but it's different in your backyard then on the field.  Anyway...  It was the last inning and we were down 9-1.  Parker got called to switch the pitcher from Center Field.  So he hadn't had any warming up other then the few pitches they allow you during a switch.  But he did really great considering.  His first pitch the kid hit it and it that made an easy out at first, but ended up bringing in a kid from 3rd to score a run.  The kids get the ol' 4 balls/3 strikes.  If the hitter has 4 balls then their coach comes out to do a couple pitches.  This happened with Parker.  But as far as we all could see his last pitch was definitely a strike.  We'll have to watch the replay later.  The kid struck out off his coach.  But the legit balls Parker did weren't all crazy and all over the place.  For his first time pitching he did great.
