Today was a big long day for everyone. We had to leave the house just after 7:00 in order to make it to the Independence Day kids run for the boys by 7:45, them mommy’s 5k was at 8:00. Which meant waking up both the boys to get dressed and out the door. They did great though. Parker was happy he didn’t fall and Landon wasn’t really into it but had fun getting his medal.
Then it was time to set up our spot for the parade while mommy did her 5k.
Then it was time to go back home for lunch.

Then it was time to get ready to go the fireworks. We were meeting an old neighbor friend of ours plus she had other friends going whom we met over the years through Gymboree and My Gym classes. So it was fun to see old baby friends.
This was Parker before we even left the parking lot for the 5 min drive home.
